Prescriptions, Lab Results & Injections

Prescriptions

Prescriptions are written with refills in appropriate quantities such that running out of medications usually indicates that it is time to see your physician. Please pay attention to how much of your medication is remaining, so you can make an appointment at least a month before you run out of medication. If you or your pharmacy call for a renewal, there will be a charge of $25.00 per prescription (unless you are enrolled in our Annual Fee Plan*). Please allow 2 weeks for the prescription to be sent to your pharmacy.

*See Annual Fee for more information on paying a one time fee vs for each prescription renewal.

Laboratory Tests and Other Results

When your doctor orders tests during one of your appointments, discuss with your doctor how the results will be communicated. THE STAFF ARE NOT PERMITTED TO GIVE RESULTS OVER THE PHONE.

It takes at least 3 days before we receive results (some results take much longer). If you are concerned about a test result and you have not heard anything 2 weeks after the test completion, you are welcome to call the office during office hours to let us know.

Injections

When you require an immunization or other injection, please book an appointment with one of our nurses.
